Welcome to Elevation Church. I’m so glad you’re here today. I believe that God has something special for each of us, and I’m excited to dive into His word with you. Today, we’re talking about the God of again. The God who gives us another chance, who renews us, and restores us.

Have you ever felt like you’ve blown it? Like you’ve missed your chance or messed up too badly to recover? I want to remind you today that our God is a God of second chances. He is the God of again. His mercies are new every morning, and He is always ready to do a new thing in our lives.

Let’s look at Lamentations 3:22-23. It says, “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” Isn’t that amazing? Every day is a fresh start, a new opportunity to experience God’s grace and mercy.

And in Isaiah 43:19, God says, “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” God is always at work, creating new paths and possibilities for us, even when we can’t see them.

I want you to think about your own life. Where has God given you a second chance? Where has He made a way where there seemed to be no way? Maybe it’s in your career, your relationships, or your personal growth. Whatever it is, recognize that it’s God’s hand at work, offering you a fresh start.

But here’s the thing: we have to be willing to step into those new opportunities. We have to trust that God knows what He’s doing and that His plans for us are good. It can be scary to let go of the past and embrace the unknown, but that’s where faith comes in.

Faith is believing that God is who He says He is and that He will do what He has promised. It’s trusting that His grace is sufficient for us and that His power is made perfect in our weakness. So, let’s be people who step boldly into the new things God is doing in our lives.

Let’s not be held back by fear or doubt. Let’s not let past failures define us. Instead, let’s embrace the God of again and the fresh starts He offers. Let’s be open to the possibilities He sets before us and trust that He is leading us on a path of hope and renewal.
